Heading and notes: GREETINGS printed below a variety of images and telegram printed below window..
Two printings included a reference to Telecom Australia and a logo.
Message area: Unbordered rectangular window.
Reverse side: Blank.
Colours (text & envelope): Multicoloured on white.
Size of envelope overall: 89 × 146 mm.
Distinctive characteristics of the form:
The Post Office Monthly Circular for June 1980 noted:

"Telecom Australia has decided to discontinue the use of the Christmas Greetings Envelope Form TX65G and use the normal greetings envelope (TX65F) in its place. Consequently any stocks of form TX65G held at Post Offices should be destroyed".

  • the security pattern was arranged diagonally - in some printings it was grey and in others it was blue (as the colour in the image above).

  • The only inscriptiopn below the window is "telecom" in lower case sans serif green letters.

    • The same schedule number was used despite the different orientation.

    • vertical wide wavy line security design in dark blue;
    • the flap on this envelope is comes to a sharp point.
    • schedule number 45885 under flap at right - the same as for one printing of GGE-7A.
    AT-GGE-7Cb AT-GGE-7Cb.

    Characteristics:

    • The inscriptions below the window are now an orange logo and Telecom Australia at the left" (both slightly larger than for 7Ca) and "telegram" in lower case sans serif letters at the right;
    • larger logo and letters for Telecom Australia;
    • vertical close wavy line security design in light blue;
    • the flap is almost rectangular.
    • no schedule number.

    This cover has SC2-TO date stamps for Fremantle, W.A. front and back.
    These are the only two examples of this type for Fremantle recorded.

    Characteristics:

    • vertical wavy pattern in blue similar to that for 7Aa above;
    • logo and Telecom Australia in orange and set below "telegram" in green at right;
    • flap has a rounded point with wide sides - similar to the earlier examples;
    • has Schedule number in orange under the flap - not blue as for the above types;

    Characteristics:

    • missing both the green (and hence "telegram" in lower right corner) and the magenta colours (and hence GREETINGS and three flowers).
