Listing of the Post & Telegraph Office date stamps.

 

A large number of Telegraph Offices or Post & Telegraph Offices in Western Australia were issued with oval date stamps inscribed Post & Telegraph Office for use with Telegrams and with ordinary mail. A listing of these date stamps is given below with examples provided elsewhere.

Most of the oval date stamps are very rare - some with only one or two examples known.
